It's an honor for every Filipinos! That is about to receive by a Filipina as she is recognized as environmental engineer at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
After 23 years of being successful in her career, Engr. Divina de Jesus-Le Clair return to the country, a native citizen of Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City, to accept the award from a prestigious organization.
Le Clair is an assistant maintenance engineer at Cryogenic Section of John F. Kennedy Space Center (NASA) Florida, USA. This 26th of February, Le Clair will receive a Honoree Award from Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers (PIChe), known as one of the highest award given by PIChe for chemical engineers.
On February 27, Le Clair will visit the Congress to tell things about the extent development and discoveries of NASA.
Engr. Divina de Jesus-Le Clair was born and raised in Bacolod, she graduated at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R).
She migrated to America in the year 1985, and there she got married. Then, took Electrical Engineering at the University of South Florida.
In 1991, she entered NASA as a laboratory technician. After 14 months, she immediately promoted as propellant systems engineer. There she is the sole Filipino and the only female in that department.
