Thailand's government made its own investigation because the video possibly originated from that country. In just a few days, PAWS positively identified the women in crush video. It is an old video taken in La Union by a couple Dorma and Vicente Ridon. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia and the National Bureau of Investigation arrested them last May 2011. The couple were faced on innumerable cases due to spreading crush videos and animal cruelty. Up to now, hearing of cases filed on them are on-going.
